Draft — to be reviewed before launch.
Without an account
ManOrbit works fully without signing in. Your favourites, the videos you open and the taste profile built from them are kept in your own browser only. A short summary of that profile is sent with your chat messages and “For you” requests so they can be personalised; it is not stored.
Chat messages are processed by an AI model (Anthropic Claude on Amazon Bedrock) to find videos. The conversation is kept on our servers for up to 7 days so the assistant can follow it, then deleted.
Visits are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not track individuals. Visitors in some countries verify their age with AgeVerif, which processes that check under its own policy.
With an account (optional)
You can sign in with an emailed one-time code or with Google (Amazon Cognito handles sign-in). Any email address works and no real name is needed. Nothing personal is kept in your account unless you choose to on your account page:
- Favourites and activity: your favourites, the videos you open (title, link, tags, categories, site and length), when, where on the site, your device type and country, and the taste profile built from them. Used only to personalise ManOrbit for you.
- Chat memory: your messages to the assistant and its replies, so it can remember past chats.
Turning an option off deletes what it stored. You can download everything we hold about you, or delete your account and all its data, at any time from your account page. We don't sell or share this data or use it for advertising.
Data is stored in Amazon Web Services in Sydney, Australia, encrypted at rest.
